Banded Triaxial Cells consist of a trasparent banded chamber to prevent excessive expansion during the test and to protect against explosive failure when used with compressed air systems.
The design of the cell ensure vertical alignement of the cell ram by clamping the Perspex wall separately from the cell top.

  • Cells are designed to accommodate a specimen with a high twice its diameter
  • Base adapters, plinths, top caps, porous disc, rubber membranes and sealing rings are not included. See accessories.
  • Models: 28-WF4070; 28-WF4100; 28-WF4150 with  pedestal and top cap can be used also to perform stress path tests and dynamic test using a vaccum attachment
  • Models: 28-WF4070; 28-WF4100; 28-WF4150 can be upgraded with an advanced kit making them compatible with mini on sample transducers and bender elements.
