The KOR-BIT core drilling machine is specifically designed for coring samples with a 100 mm diameter — 150 mm height required for Dynamic Modulus (AMPT, AASHTO T378) and 38 to 75 mm height for Indirect Tensile Tests (EN 12697-24 and 26) obtained, for instance, from Gyratory compactors. It also comes complete with a protection device conforming to all CE prescriptions.

Our asphalt core drilling machine can take samples from cores up to 150 mm diameter. Its robust and rigid frame is fitted with a 3 motor speeds that comes complete with adjustable clamps for cylindrical asphalt samples up to 150 mm.
The KOR-BIT Core Drilling machine can be used as part of your Superpave performance based testing program.
